Conoce nuestro equipo:

Suzi Schoenhoft  Executive Director

sschoenhoft@apfvwalworth.com

Why New Beginnings APFV is important to Suzi:

As Director at New Beginnings, I am privileged to work alongside a strong and dedicated team. We ensure victims of violent crimes receive services and advocacy that will empower them to regain their rights and freedoms, both physically and mentally. In my role, I write grants to fund our agency, speak as the voice for survivor justice and implement operational strategies that benefit those we serve and our team at New Beginnings APFV. All individuals have the right to be free of harm, fear and abuse. I'm at New Beginnings to make that happen.

Martha Gama  Bilingual Legal Crime Victim Advocate

mgama@apfvwalworth.com

Why New Beginnings APFV is important to Martha:
"As the Bilingual Legal Crime Victim Advocate I am really passionate about the legal advocacy I am able to offer the victims and survivors. I am grateful for the opportunity my role gives me to empower and support many underrepresented populations, such as the Latino community."

Alejandra Munoz Bilingual Special Crime Victim Advocate

amunoz@apfvwalworth.com

Why New Beginnings APFV is important to Alejandra:
"Working with victims and survivors of domestic and sexual abuse is important to me because so much is taken away from them.  I want to empower all survivors to have the tools they need and not be afraid.  Everyone deserves to be happy and feel safe.  Many times we say that people are broken but those broken pieces can be put together and create something more beautiful."

Amber Gee  Crime Victim Advocate

agee@apfvwalworth.com
Why New Beginnings APFV is important to Amber:

“New Beginnings is important to me because in my role as an advocate, I can help those affected by domestic violence and/or sexual assault to become empowered survivors instead of victims by providing them with a safe place in the community to heal.”

Lisa Otterbacher Crime Victim Advocate

Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice
Master’s Degree in Justice and Securities

“Having worked in the criminal justice system for 31 years, I’ve had the opportunity to work with many victims and have witnessed the members of New Beginnings APFV passionately advocate for those who found themselves unexpectedly navigating some of the most difficult challenges of their life. Today I’m honored to be a part of the team that partners with individuals who are seeking to take back their lives. I’m dedicated to walking this journey with you, to successfully navigate a complex legal and court system to overcome choices that you had no voice in, as you renew the person you were designed to be.”
